Simon and Vya - Teenage Vya

I said before that Vya was not always the adorable little squish ball he is today, at least not on the outside. He was always getting in fights with other kids and running off to make trouble with his older siblings. Between suspensions and ditching he didn't spend much time in school and finally dropped out at 14 and was a delinquent full-time. He smoked, drank, beat people up for no reason, and worked very hard to make sure everyone knew how tough he was. But it was mostly an act, carefully constructed so to hide his true nature. Obviously his homosexuality was his most close guarded and humiliating secret, but his abundance of fears and soft feminine heart were also to be hidden at all costs. As a result, Vya spent the better part of his life playing whack-a-mole with his own personality. Every time a "unmanly" or "undesirable" thought or feeling started to rise to the surface, he would force it back down and then violently lash out at someone or something in a desperate effort to relieve the pressure cooker of frustration and suppressed desires inside him. It was exhausting and lonely, he could never let anything slip and could never let anyone close enough to see who he really was.

Also his hair was short back then.

I was just doing this as an example for my commission sheet (I like to update it when I feel like my art has improved enough to warrant it) and I ended up liking it enough to post. And now it's 1 am and I need to go to bed OTL
