Mutant Apartments - Mac's Kids

I know I'm posting a lot of mutant apartment stuff lately, but screw it, I went a long time without posting anything about them, they're kinda due. I actually drew this during the summer on a train trip with my parents. I really love trains and subways and stuff, but we don't have much of that in Texas, so Mom thought it would be fun to go on a sight-seeing train trip. Unfortunately the sights sucked. But the train was fun, and we had a pretty good time anyway.

Not too much to say about this one actually, since Mac is one of those characters that I think about more than I draw, so I haven't posted much of him. But since worms are a sex-changing species (meaning they can change their anatomy at will and go back and forth) I thought it would be fun to have one of them get pregnant at some point in the story. And somehow Mac seemed like the best one. Cuz he's so harsh and cold, you'd never think he'd be a good "mother" But he is, he loves those kids like crazy (I can see him training them to attack people on command) No one knows who the "father" is, and Mac won't tell. Whoever they were, they weren't eager to have kids, and Mac is aromantic and didn't want to deal with a life partner anyway. So their uncle Math is basically their secondary caregiver.

Their names are Betsey (purple) and Bettina (green) (named after my cousins, also twins, haha (now I have to work the other three kid's names into the story so if I ever do anything with it, they won't be like "why didn't you put me in there??"(...not that their parents would APPROVE of a story with swearing and monsters and gay and trans people haha))) Anyway. Betsy is the bolder one, who is full of energy and curiosity and is never far from trouble. Bettina is shy and more well-behaved, but she's also a follower and will follow Betsy into whatever trouble she leads them into.

I don't know, I like drawing curly hair....
