I totally just saw it! I was a little worried when I saw it was rated R, but there's nothing really worse than the language. If you're fine with excessive use of the F-word and sex talks, then the rest of the movie is very funny. I honestly think they threw in as much cussing as possible to make sure they got that R rating.

The story line is (I'll try to leave out spoilers) is there is a realtor named Peter who has just asked the girl of his dreams to marry him. As she calls all her friends and excitedly tells them the news, Peter finds himself with no one he really wants to share the news with other than his family. A dinner with his family and a girl's night for his fiance further emphisizes an unavoidable fact: HE HAS NO MALE FRIENDS! He goes on several 'man dates' (set ups from his mother and his gay brother) in hopes of finding a best friend. Finally he meets a guy at an open house (he's a realtor, remember?) and strikes up a friendly conversation with him. A few days later, they get together for beer and fish tacos and a friendship begins to blossem. I'll let you watch the movie, and see where the story goes from there.

The movie was very funny, but there were somethings I felt it could have done without. Mostly the excessive cussing. When the F-word is the only insult you have in your arsonal, that's pretty sad.

But there was so much comedy, it balenced out the profanity wonderfly. There was quite a lot of guy humor, and some of it was so off the wall, you had to laugh at just how stupid it all was. Then again, isn't that why guys are funny? 'Cause they act stupid, and don't care what people think! The ending is pretty heartwarming, without much a 'bummer montage' that so often pop up in comedies.

Well, hope this helps someone decide if they want to see it or not. Don't worry the yoai is kept to a minimum. XD Seriously though, there is one scene where after a 'man date' the guy leaned in to kiss Peter, and there was some serious tongue. *shudder*
